Chet was a male cheerleader for the Miami Hurricanes. As I said before, Chet was in debt. In debt up to his eyeballs, in fact. Chet was chasing a lifestyle late at night online that was out of his reach--at least while he was still in college. But he wanted things he couldn't afford as a cheerleader (especially since cheerleaders in college don't get paid, and it took up too much of his time to spend more than four or five hours a week at any sort of job). Fortunately Chet found a job at a cruise line one afternoon a week, but that only paid enough for him to keep up with his monthly minimums. Then one day, the monthly minimums became so high that he had to cut back on the time he spent cheerleading (which almost got him cut from the squad) to spend more hours at the cruise job. And he could just forget about studying!

Finally, Chet realized how ridiculous his life was becoming. He was supposed to be in school learning how to become some kind of sports medicine guru. (He decided on this career path when he got injured in a synchronized swimming accident--ouch!) Now he's spending most of his time trying to get out of debt!! So he got on the Internet and typed in "Florida debt consolidation" to see what kind of help he could find. What he got was quite an education in and of itself in debt consolidation.
